A bit about me and my journey
I'm Guilherme Gonzalez, a software engineer since 2018. I build and own production systems end to end — architecture, infrastructure and the interface people actually use. Most of that work has been remote, in small teams, for companies in the US, Canada and Brazil.
My core is TypeScript across the whole stack: Node.js and NestJS on the backend, React and Next.js on the frontend, running on Kubernetes and GCP with Terraform, Helm and Dapr. Lately I've been focused on AI engineering — LLM integrations, semantic search and voice pipelines — and on payments, from PIX and banking APIs to Stripe and crypto checkout.
Away from the keyboard I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, travel whenever I get the chance, and cook to switch context. Same instinct as engineering: keep iterating until it works.
